Fonds d’Assistance Économique et Sociale (FAES)
The Fund for Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), created in 1990 by Presidential Decree, is an independent, public, financial institution that is supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). FAES’s mission is to support disadvantaged communities in developing their capabilities, to create a common vision of their future by providing those communities with the necessary support to their building and financing of priority projects.
